Mars Retrograde 2026

Every Mars retrograde period of 2026, in Estonian time.

Periods

Mars is not retrograde at any time in 2026.

The next retrograde period starts on January 10, 2027.

What it means

Mars is the planet of action, strength and will. When it is retrograde, astrologers say, there is less energy and things move more slowly than you would like.

It is worth waiting with a big new undertaking and not looking for a fight: at this time arguments turn sharp more easily and drag on.

It is a good time to look at where your strength goes. Finish what you left half done, keep your body moving and save your strength for when Mars moves direct again.

What retrograde motion is

Retrograde motion is apparent. The Earth overtakes the planet, or the planet the Earth, and for a few weeks the planet seems to move backwards against the stars. The planet itself keeps moving forward.

How it is calculated

A retrograde period starts and ends on the day the planet's motion in the sky stops and turns. The planet hardly moves then and the time of the stop is uncertain, so only the dates in Estonian time are shown.
